Botanicals, mostly. Peonies with a dragonfly, hydrangeas, a girl carrying spring flowers with a bird beside her, and the Flower Palette — flowers arranged on an artist's palette, which is the page people buy for their studio wall.
Flowers are the gentlest way into grayscale coloring. Petals have obvious light and shade, mistakes hide in the layers, and one page gives you fifty small decisions instead of one big one.
The same peonies appear in my watercolor originals and my stationery, so you will recognize them across the shop.
