The stories everyone already knows, drawn my way. Snow White, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood meeting the wolf, Puss in Boots, and Scheherazade from the Thousand and One Nights.
Familiar subjects are surprisingly freeing to color: you already have opinions about what red the cloak should be, or whether Rapunzel's hair is gold or ash. The page only has to be good enough to hold the argument.
These are among the most detailed pages I draw — costume, hair and setting all competing at once. Pre-shaded grayscale PDF at 300 dpi, printed at home.
