A grayscale coloring page is a drawing that has already been shaded for you. Instead of flat black outlines on white paper, the image carries the full range of light and shadow in shades of gray. You color on top of that shading, and the depth comes through by itself — skin, fur and fabric look three-dimensional without you having to work out where the shadows fall. It is the reason a finished grayscale page looks closer to a painting than to a coloring book page.

Our coloring pages come as high-resolution digital downloads in PDF and JPEG formats (300 DPI). Most designs include three versions: Grayscale Dark, Grayscale Light, and Sepia Tone. All files are A4 size.

Most designs come with three versions of the same illustration in one file. Grayscale Dark has the strongest contrast and gives the most drama, which suits bold colors and markers. Grayscale Light is softer and easier to cover, so it works beautifully with colored pencils and pale palettes. Sepia Tone swaps the grays for warm brown tones, lovely for vintage, autumn and portrait work. Color the same drawing in two versions and you get two completely different pieces.

We recommend cardstock (200-250 gsm) for best results. Smooth Bristol paper is great for blending colored pencils, and watercolor paper works well for water-based markers.

Colored pencils are the most popular choice, because they layer gently over the shading that is already there — Prismacolor, Polychromos and Luminance all behave well. Alcohol markers work too, but print on heavier paper first because they bleed. If your colors feel overpowered by the grays, try the Grayscale Light version instead. And if you work digitally, the JPEG files import straight into Procreate.

Please allow 1 to 7 days for me to prepare your order before it ships. Everything physical is made and packed by hand: jewelry is sculpted one berry at a time, and stationery is printed, cut and assembled here. Each piece gets individual attention before it leaves the studio.

I ship worldwide from my studio in Spain. Once your parcel leaves the studio, delivery usually takes one to two weeks, depending on your country and the postal service handling the final leg. Counting the 1 to 7 days of preparation above, please allow roughly two to three weeks in total. Original paintings ship free worldwide and travel flat and protected, ready to frame.

Orders within the European Union carry no additional charges. If you are ordering from outside the EU, your country may apply import duties or taxes when the parcel arrives. Those are set by your own customs authority rather than by me, so I cannot calculate or cover them — it is worth checking your local threshold before ordering.

The fruit and flower pieces are sculpted by hand from polymer clay, and some are finished in UV resin. The Patreon pieces set real dried flowers and leaves into resin. Findings are hypoallergenic stainless steel or sterling silver. Keep them away from perfume, hairspray and long soaks in water, and store them where they will not be crushed. Nothing is cast from a mould, so no two pieces are identical.

The Artist's Edition sets are printed on heavy-weight, acid-free mixed media paper of 115 lb (250 g/m²), and each set holds 25 A5 cards measuring 14.8 × 21 cm. That weight handles colored pencils, alcohol markers, watercolor and acrylic without the paper buckling.

Instant downloads cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled once the file has been delivered, which is standard for digital products. Physical items have a 14-day return window from the day you receive them. If a file will not open, or something arrives damaged, write to me and I will put it right.
